AMU Girls School

AMU Girls School was founded by Dr. Padam Boushan. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, commonly known as Papamian, was founded solely for the purpose of educating girls in the country. The main purpose of establishing this institution was to enable girls in general, especially Muslims, to be equal partners in the development and growth of the country. AMU Girls School offers modern education in all areas of knowledge. Currently, there are more than 2500 students from Class I to XII. AMU Girls' School provides sports facilities and other facilities to students and maintains a clinic to provide medical care to students. Within 3 months there were about 50 girls. Oddly enough, most girls came from a poor background. The rich were still reluctant to educate their daughter. After the inspection, the government was satisfied and approved a monthly grant of 250 rupees and 17,000 rupees for infrastructure.
