Harduaganj Thermal Power Station

The Harduaganj Thermal Power Plant is located in the Kasimpur Power Plant Colony, 1 km from the Harduaganj Railway Station, about 18 km from Harduaganj and Aligarh in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India, and 105 km from Agra. It is a new power plant built in the Aligarh district. The old one is the Sumera hydroelectric power plant in Jawan Sicandal Pool in the Aligarh district. The coal from this power plant is supplied from the BCCL and ECL coal mines and transported via rail to the power plant.
