Women's College is the focus of Aligarh Muslim University, which attracts talented students and scholars from all over India. Colleges provide exciting, rewarding and rewarding intellectual experiences for students participating in a variety of programs. The purpose of each program is to maintain and communicate high standards of education and science. The dynamism of the intellectual atmosphere is evidenced by a wide variety of public lectures and workshops held in parallel with regular classes and exchanges organized for specific programs.
Women's College was first born as part of philanthropy and conscious awakening, and has evolved over time into a gateway to excellence. As the main institute of Aligarh Muslim University, the university is proud of its 115-year history dedicated to the purpose of girls' education in India.
In 1906, it was a humble beginning as an unobtrusive school in Aligarh's Upper Court, and was developed under the leadership of its founder, Ph.D. Seek Mohammed Abdullah and his wife Waheed Jahan Begum (lovingly remembered as Papa Mian and Ala Bi) entered high school in 1921. It became an intermediate university in 1922 and was promoted to undergraduate status in 1937 as part of Aligarh Muslim University.
